Building on the tropical sound introduced on his debut album, SEYCHELLES, TAKANAKA further expands Takanaka's unique musical vision by seamlessly blending Latin, jazz fusion, funk, and pop. Widely regarded as a landmark release, the album helped establish the signature sound that would define his illustrious career.
The album features "Ready To Fly,” one of Takanaka's most iconic compositions and a perennial highlight of his live performances. Originally performed during his time with Sadistics, the track was re-recorded here as a solo version. Its uplifting melody, infectious groove, and exhilarating guitar work continue to captivate audiences, making it one of the defining songs in Masayoshi Takanaka's remarkable catalog.
This special RSD Black Friday 2026 import edition, pressed on translucent vinyl, is the perfect opportunity for longtime fans and new listeners alike to experience one of the essential classics of Japanese jazz fusion.
RSD Black Friday 2026 Exclusive Special Poster will be included!
