I Love Rock 'N Roll: The Shadow Album had been lost for decades. Recently unearthed, this collection features alternate, unreleased versions of the seminal groundbreaking album, recorded in 1980. Far from rough demos, The Shadow Album captures the first version of I Love Rock 'N Roll, featuring the original recordings of "Little Drummer Boy" and "Crimson and Clover." More than 45 years later, these recordings offer a rare look at Joan Jett and the Blackhearts just before I Love Rock 'N Roll changed everything. I Love Rock 'N Roll is Joan Jett and the Blackhearts' most celebrated album and continues to be streamed by millions across all generations, worldwide.
