Recorded on September 12, 1971, shortly after the release of Maggot Brain, Live at Meadowbrook 1971 is the only official live recording from Funkadelic's classic early era. Drawn from the original soundboard master tapes, it captures George Clinton, Eddie Hazel, Bernie Worrell, Billy "Bass" Nelson, and a transitional lineup as the band evolved into the P-Funk powerhouse it would soon become.
Featuring explosive performances of "Maggot Brain," "I Got A Thing, You Got A Thing, Everybody's Got A Thing," and more, the album showcases Funkadelic's signature blend of psychedelic rock, deep funk, and fearless improvisation. Newly remastered by Dave Gardner.
