Product Overview

Limited vinyl LP pressing of this 2001 album from the Arizona-based emo rock band. Jimmy Eat World exemplify all that is the modern radio rock sound. Singing and playing with a conviction and sincerity that will melt the heart of even the most stoic of listeners, they produce rousing, well-crafted anthems along the lines of Third Eye Blind at their roughest or a more polished Green Day. These guys appear to be able to write ready-made singles at the drop of a hat, as evidenced by "Your House" as well as the title track. In fact, there is a rather shocking maturity to their material that belies the band members' ages (all in their 20s). Overall, Jimmy Eat World give the people what they want with Bleed American.

Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American Vinyl

To start with, I know it's a product review & I will do one. However wanted to quickly say that as a first time customer of Midland Records, you guys were fantastic! Easy to deal with, fantastic range (building my "Wishlist" up), + great tracking & updates. Plus delivery from WA to Sydney, in lockdown etc was super quick, will definitely be back. This has been one of my favourite albums and bands for years, so getting this on Vinyl was always a must. As a middle-aged drummer, still trying to live his emo-pop punk younger years (yep, I know...), Jimmy Eat World were one of those transformative bands for me. For me, this is one of those start to finish albums, love every song, and then you just start again! Again it may be a personal thing, but what I love about this album is the combination of some quite gentle, lyrically beautiful songs with those at the other end of the spectrum, like the Title track. Then the in-between, so many tracks that if you're a fan of the emo/pop punk genre, it's pure indulgence in some of the best - "A Praise Chorus", "Sweetness", "If You Don't, Don't", "The Authority Song" and of course "The Middle". So really happy with the service and customer support from the team at Midland and without a doubt, one of my favourite albums of all time. Many thanks
