Toward the end of 1996 Hourly Daily won the ARIA Award for Best Album and Best Independent Release.
Lead singer and songwriter, Tim Rogers, says the record is basically "about one day and all the little potty things going on in your suburb". Standout tracks include Mr Milk, Soldiers and Please Don't Ask Me To Smile.
