To mark the band’s 40th anniversary, we are thrilled to present the reissue of “Echoes And Rhymes” on striking white vinyl with yellow/red splatter. A brilliant collection of covers of 60s female gems that THE PRIMITIVES made their own with jangle-pop spark, punk energy, and Tracy Tracy’s unmistakable voice.
A unique opportunity to rediscover an album that shines as brightly as the band’s classics, and that joins to the reissue of “Spin-O-Rama”, the recent release of “Let’s Go Round Again • Second Wave Singles & Rarities 2011-2025” which compiles much of the band’s hit collection from the second stage of their career, and the tribute record titled “40th Anniversary Single” also released in November 2025, which includes two songs: a new mix of “Thru The Flowers” with overdubs and added guitars, and the previously unreleased original version of “Sweet Sister Sorrow”. Their very first song in an updated version and their last composition in its original form.
It is time to celebrate these 40 years of career and let the echoes and rhymes keep sounding more alive than ever.
