"Perfect Blue" is a psycho-suspense film that was released in theaters in 1998 and was the directorial debut of Satoshi Kon, known for "Paprika," "Millennium Actress," and "Tokyo Godfathers." It was novel of the same name by Yoshikazu Takeuchi and was animated by Madhouse. This world-famous masterpiece depicts the "dissociation between the image of oneself and others," a theme that has become vividly relevant to ordinary people over the years. The soundtrack, which allows you to relive the main story where fiction and reality blend together, is a mix of bright and refreshing idol pop and the unsettling music of Masahiro Ikumi, and is now available again in a newly remastered version.
