I just wanted to send you this letter. I got a temporary job transcribing emails that computers can’t auto-read. It’s unforgiving, but it’s only temporary… until I get my feet on the ground.
My workstation is isolated from the rest of the world. I haven’t seen anyone else in days. I keep getting these strange letters from the Dead Letter Department. A few moments ago I had to transcribe one that referenced a company called Very Ok Vinyl and how they are releasing this company's titular soundtrack on crimson red vinyl with black inner and red splatter sometime in October 2025. It sounded incredibly ominous.
Honestly, I feel like I’m slowly losing my mind. I keep feeling like someone is watching me through the screen, and some of the post cards look exactly like my workstation. I don’t know how much longer I can do this, but I keep telling myself that all of this is temporary… I’ll be done soon. I have to be.
