LSD and the Search for God emerged on the Northern California coast in 2005, seemingly beamed in from another dimension. Their hypnotic live shows combined swirling guitars, otherworldly drones, fuzzed-out pop hooks and dreamy harmonies, earning instant comparisons to My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Spacemen 3, and Sonic Youth.
Upon release, their self-titled debut EP drew critical acclaim and quickly became a staple on essential shoegaze lists. Since then, the band has toured extensively across the US, Canada and Europe, sharing stages with Martin Rev, Sonic Boom, and The Telescopes, and playing major festivals including Levitation, Desert Daze, Cosmosis, and Reverence Valada.
