A minor success at the time of its release in '99, Soundpieces has developed a cult following over the years through the continued success of group members Wildchild, DJ Romes and particularly Madlib. It's a bouillabaisse of focused, concise beats that sees Madlib for the first time producing an album. It's a Madlib Invazion for all 24 tracks, including the fire singles "Answers," "Whenimondamic," "The Anthem," "Questions," "Weededed," "Crate Diggin," and lots more (the music video for Whenimondamic is spaced out amazing-ness).
