Out Of Focus is the new expansive psych-rocker from Grinding Eyes. Out via Poison City and Little Cloud (USA).
Led by the pulsing rocker ‘We Move Slowly', Out Of Focus is thundering ride through waves of droning guitars, lush melodic hooks and driving kraut inspired repetition. The eight expansive new tracks were recorded by Paul Maybury (The Secret Location Sound Recorders) to analog tape & mixed by Evan Foster (Iggy Pop, Mudhoney, Boss Martians), expanding on sonic territory previously explored on the 2021 album 'Taste The Monochrome'.
Forming in 2016 and named after a 1960s Spanish B-grade horror film, Grinding Eyes have always played the long game, carefully constructing sonically dense & dynamically expansive albums while clocking up the miles touring internationally where they’ve earned coveted supports with indie royalty Dinosaur Jr, The Jesus & Mary Chain, King Gizzard, Boris, Swervedriver, Mudhoney and more +++
