Part of a suite of 3 albums all releasing simultaneously November 10th 2023, Midnight Tangerine is a venture into somewhat more conventional songwriting for death’s dynamic shroud, as heard on singles “Who I Say I Am” and “The Bleeding Of The Sun,” which became live staples over the course of the recent tour. It is a melodramatic, synth-driven album with many of the epic, explosive moments DDS has become known for over the years.
The artwork is a digital collage by band member Tech Honors featuring early 1800s watercolor abstractions originally painted by Mary Gartside, and fruits and flowers by Kaspar Hauser.
