The band kicked off 2020 in the studio recording their 4th album to be released as a self titled through Legless Records in October 2020. Plans were for the boys to be touring the US and Canada alongside Amyl & The Sniffers as well as National tours in support of the album. We don’t need reminding how the rest of that story goes but the energy hasn’t stopped.
Children of Finland Fighting in Norway (C.O.F.F.I.N) are a 5 piece band hailing from the
Northern Beaches of Sydney Australia, featuring 3 Guitarists and the lead vocalist on drums. Forming in 2005 as schoolmates influenced by a huge love for music, skateboarding and mischief. Over the years they have developed their own sound, combining Australian Pub Rock, Punk and Thrash, and played their first show at the age of 12 opening for The Hard-Ons at Manly Youth Centre.
They have gained a passionate following for their unique take on rock music, garnering
widespread acclaim for their energetic and addictive live shows. Delivering them countless gigs over the years through their own headline tours and festival appearances, touring and sharing the stage with many world renown bands such as Rose Tattoo, TSOL, Celibate Rifles, Dead Kennedys, Cosmic Psychos, Frenzal Rhomb, Misfits, Amyl and the Sniffers and the Hard Ons.
In 2018 COFFIN turned up the heat with the recording of its 3rd full length album “Piss~Up” and the addition of a 3rd guitarist. On top of extensive Australian Tours they also undertook their first International dates through a tour of Japan , South Korea and China. They pushed it even further in 2019, joining the Damaged agency and releasing a live album, before recording a new EP called “Be Gone” released on Queensland band The Chats own Bargain Bin records. As well as a successful headline tour of Australia and an Australian tour supporting American 80’s Punk band T.S.O.L.
