Set for release in September 2025, Double Infinity marks Big Thief’s sixth studio album and their most expansive sonic journey yet. Recorded in the heart of a Manhattan winter at the legendary Power Station, the sessions brought together a wide circle of collaborators including Laraaji, June McDoom, Hannah Cohen, Joshua Crumbly and more. Over three immersive weeks, the ensemble created live, layering improvisation, ambient textures, and intuitive performances into a record that radiates warmth, vulnerability and presence.

Big Thief formed in Brooklyn, New York and quickly earned global acclaim for their emotionally raw, genre-blurring sound. Led by Adrianne Lenker’s deeply personal songwriting, the band continues to evolve with every release. Double Infinity is a testament to their devotion to collaboration, community and artistic growth.
