Airling – Love Gracefully (Vinyl, 12" EP, 45RPM)

'Love Gracefully' is the debut EP from Brisbane artist Airling, AKA Hannah Shepherd. The recording sessions came about after Tom Iansek (Big Scary) enlisted Hannah to provide backing vocals for his #1 Dads album 'About Face'. Shepherd shared some of her songs with Iansek, and the two immediately made plans to get them recorded. Multi-instrumentalist Graham Ritchie joined as co-producer and the trio bunkered down at Mixed Business, the ramshackle studio of Iansek's label Pieater, who subsequently joined with Airling to release the EP.

Over lush electronics incorporating RnB production, Airling sings about the immense feelings of love, guilt and loss from losing a close loved one, about escapism, and of mental health battles.
