As the founder of Jamaica's first recording studio, Ken Khouri produced early ska classics that captured Jamaican music at the point it transcended Jazz, rock, soul and calypso influences to create the foundations for what would become reggae. 14 first-rate ska pieces from 1963-1965 including previously unreleased materials from The Sharks, Ernest Ranglin, Eddie Perkins, The Monarchs & Drumbago All Stars, the Federal Singers, Eric Monty Morris, and The Maytals.
